Coquito [ Puerto Rican Egg Nog]

Coquito is the best part of the holidays. Seriously, even before I was legally able to drink, my mom used to take a couple of cups out before she added the Bacardi for my brother and I to enjoy. We drink coquito basically from November 1st to New Years haha.

Ray is also a huge fan of coquito, when we buy our tree, we also buy a bottle of Bacardi. We don’t really celebrate Christmas, we buy a tree and make coquito and that’s it about it. [ I’ll get into why in future posts]. It takes alot for us to join in on the hype, but coquito is a tradition we refuse to pass up.

Anyway, my mom truly outdid herself with this plant-based version of coquito. So delicious !! You can pair Coquito with any dessert or meal! Can’t wait for you guys to try this recipe! Don’t forget to tag us at #hipsandhustle
